The 2012 UOP Asia Refining, Petrochemicals and Gas Processing Conference was recently held in Jakarta, Indonesia. The conference was a forum for open discussion and provided an opportunity for regional customers to discuss the challenges and opportunities in Indonesia in particular and SE Asia in general.
The two-day conference was filled with technical presentations given by UOP experts from refining, petrochemicals and gas processing industries.
IHS Purvin & Gertz, Energy Consulting Firm, provided an overview of the global energy industry, and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Directorate General of Oil and Gas gave an overview of Indonesia’s oil and gas downstream development.
In 2013, UOP will continue its commitment toward providing technology solutions for the growing oil and natural gas sector technology. Planning is underway for UOP-hosted conferences in 2013. Technology conferences will include:
